Roger Crotinger

Longtime Goodland, Kansas resident, Roger Wayne Crotinger, departed this life unexpectedly on November 18th, 2022 at his home in Goodland.

Roger was born June 25th, 1949 in Great Bend, KS to Ida Irene (Reifschneider) and Lawrence Edwin Crotinger Sr.  He was one of five children.  Roger graduated from Pawnee Heights High School in Rozel, KS in 1968, and then went on to attend Beloit Vo-Tech for one year.  He was an athlete and enjoyed sports.

Roger worked for ADM for many years and retired in 2012.  He then started working for Nutrien Ag.  Roger enjoyed attending his grandkids’ activities and loved fishing.

Roger married Vickie Russell on April 25th, 1998 in Goodland, KS.

Roger is survived by his wife, Vickie of the home; mother-in-law Jean Russell of Goodland, sisters Barb (Dean) Graber of Goodland, KS; Patti (Bill) Nicholson of Hoisington, KS; Beckie (Danny) Chapman of Oswego, KS; brother and sister-in-law’s Shellie and Randy Gausman and Casey and Connie Russell of Goodland, KS; daughters Teresa (Marshal) Hoppe of Goodland, KS; Tonya (Brian) Medina of Wallace, KS; Vanessa Crotinger of Topeka, KS; step sons Lance (DeLisa) Goodman of Ozawkie, KS, and Jerrod (Allie) Goodman of Spring Hill, KS.  He is also survived by grandkids, Emily & Oliver Hoppe, Spencer, Trever, & Breanna Medina, Camdyn Goodman, and Hartley Goodman.

He is preceded in death by his parents, one infant brother Lawrence, Jr. and one step son Derek Goodman.
