Thornton, Colorado resident Sherry Marie Hoss, 66, died Sunday July 27, 2014, at Collier Hospice in Wheat Ridge, Colorado.
She was born October 14, 1947, at Goodland, Kansas, the daughter of Ileene Marie (Bricker) and Don Carlos Hoover. She graduated from Wallace County Community High School in Sharon Springs, and from Northwest Kansas Vocational-Technical School in Goodland.
On August 21, 1963, she and Donald Lee Hoss were married at Sharon Springs.
She had retired from US Bank in Denver, where she worked as a corporate client representative.
Preceding her in death were parents.
Surviving family includes Donald Hoss of Sharon Springs; daughter Angela K. Hoss and her husband Brian Raney of Lakin; grandson Trey (Amber Dean) Raney of Shelbyville, Tennessee; grandmother Evelyn Bricker of Sharon Springs; sister Roxie Hoss and her husband Ronnie of La Junta, Colorado; brother Roger Hoover and Missy McLaughlin of Port Angeles, Washington; nephews Chad Hoss and his wife Sandra of Lakeside, California; Don Wayne Hoss of La Junta, Colorado; Quincy Hoss of Lakeside, California; Jeremy Miles and his wife Cary of Salina; Jericho Hoover and his wife Amanda of Salina.
The funeral will be Thursday, July 31, at 10:30 AM MT, at United Methodist Church in Sharon Springs, with Pastor Keith Anglemyer and Reverend Paul McNall officiating. Burial will follow in the Sharon Springs Cemetery.
Friends may share their respects on Wednesday, from 4:00 until 7:00 PM MT, at Koons Funeral Home in Sharon Springs.
