Lifetime, Sherman County resident, Ralph Glenn Wilson, 83, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, November 30, 2019 at the Goodland Regional Medical Center in Goodland.
Ralph was born on July 4, 1936 in Cheyenne County, KS to Roy Elmer and Nellie Olive (Barnard) Wilson. He was one of eleven children. Ralph attended school in Edson and graduated from Edson High School in 1954. He then went on and attended college at Kansas State University.
On July 21, 1962, Ralph married Shirley Kay Sivey in Kanorado, KS. To this union, three children; Stony, Joni and Cody were born. Ralph was a farmer his whole life. Ralph was an avid golfer, card player and sports fan. His biggest priority in life was family. Ralph was a longtime member of the ELKS and the Sugar Hills Golf Club.
Preceding Ralph in death were his parents, his brothers Virgil Oren, Roy Jr., Guilford and Ellis, and sisters Frances Anderson, Vivian McDunn and Edna Mae Altman.
He is survived by his wife Shirley of the home in Ruleton, KS, his children Stony (Karen) Wilson of Hutchinson, KS, Joni (Randy Cook) Wilson of Grinnell, KS and Cody (Tammy) Wilson of Garden City, KS; nine grandchildren; Brock (Emily) Lohr, Rashaun (Samuel Fels) Wilson, Zachary (Jessica) Lohr, Emma Davis, Abby Herlan, Jeremiah Wilson, Levi (Kalaya) Cook, Jason Fletcher Brady (Katie) Cartwright; ten great grandchildren; Cooper, Elizabeth, Kinsley and Alexis Lohr, Alivia and Liam Lohr, Bryley Cook, Steele and Lyndon Fletcher and Emmie Jeanne Cartwright. He is also survived by three sisters; Clara Fern Hawks of Goodland, KS, Esther Elliott of Edson, KS and Eleanor Elliott of Edson, KS.
