Patricia Ann Briney

Lifelong Goodland, Kansas resident Patricia Ann Briney, 68, passed away on Monday, September 18, 2023 at her home in Goodland.

Pat was born on March 22, 1955 in Goodland, Kansas to Dan Morton and Dorothy Mae (Jones) Harper.  She was one of four children.  Growing up in Goodland and attending school here, she graduated with the class of 1973.

On December 29, 1973, she married Stephen Mark Briney in Goodland.  To this union, two children Stephanie and David were born.  Pat worked for many years in the Goodland School System as a Para Professional.  She also worked for several years at the Goodland Library.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Surviving family includes her husband Steve of the home in Goodland, her two children; Stephanie Briney of Columbia, South Carolina and David (Danielle) Briney of Gillette, Wyoming.  She is also survived by her three grandchildren Jordan, Isabelle and Londyn Briney of Gillette, Wyoming; one sister Jacque (Barry) Jarrett of Goodland, KS; and two brothers Duane Harper of Goodland, KS and Dwight (Jennifer) Harper of Oregon City, Oregon, along with numerous nieces and nephews.
