She enjoyed playing cards, bingo, needlework, babysitting, helping friends, traveling, and working in her yard. She was a very good cook and made sure no one ever left hungry. She enjoyed making bread items like cinnamon, crescent, and dinner rolls, and lots of pies. Her fried chicken was awesome! Even past the time that she was able to cook, she loved giving something to people who came to see her, so to that end, her family kept her supplied with 7-Up and candies, so that she could share with her visitors.
Preceding her in death were her parents; her two husbands; sister Edna McClung; brothers Albert Peter, Ted Peter, Reuben Peter, and Gilbert Peter; her daughter Shirley Amack; son-in-law William Cecil; step-son-in-law Kenneth Rose.
