M. Andrew Phillips

M. Andrew “Andy” Phillips, 56, passed away from cancer on December 13, 2022, at home in Denver, Colorado.

Andy was born February 4, 1966, in Kansas City, Missouri.  He graduated from Goodland High School in 1984 and graduated from Northwest Kansas Vocational Technical College in 1986.

On July 13, 1985, he and Jennifer McKnight were married.  They moved to Denver in 1986 where he worked for Carroll & Lange until the owners retired. He worked for Manhart for a short time before joining and finding a home with Redland.  He was an active member and leader of the Denver area Scouting community.

Andy is survived by his daughter Gessica Phillips and grandson Nosyah Phillips, his son Mathew (Maria) Phillips, Mother Peggy Phillips, and sister Amanda (Chris) Ross.

He is preceded in death by his wife, Jennifer (McKnight) Phillips, father Martin Phillips, grandparents Paul & Grace Phillips, and Grandmother Joan Masden.

Memorial contributions may be designated to the Nosyah Phillips Education Fund and may be left at the services or mailed to Koons-Russell Funeral Home, 211 N. Main Ave., Goodland, KS 67735.
