Liane Gonzalez

Liane Gonzalez, beloved wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, passed away peacefully at the age of 94 in the early morning of July 7, 2017 at Greeley County Long Term Care in Tribune, KS. She was born on November 23, 1922 in Stolp, Germany to Hans Deininger and Alice Kilian.

Liane's life included so many wonderful things like traveling the world, a love of the ocean, meeting new people and enjoying life's simple pleasures such as gardening, going for long walks and spending time with her family. There was never a dull moment when in the presence of Liane and she will be remembered fondly in the hearts of those who knew her and loved her.

She is survived by her two daughters Manuela and Christine, her grandchildren, Heidi, Chelsea, Erik and Vanessa and her 4 Great grandchildren. Included in her extended family are those who cared for her later in her years after she moved to Sharon Springs; Kenn and Becky Poe, Cyndee Hoss, Kriss Wahlmeier, Tanna Smith, Aften Gardner and their families and friends. They all held a special place in Liane's heart as she did in theirs.

Liane will be met in heaven by her doting husband, Ernest and so many friends and family who preceded her in death.

Per Liane’s wish, she was cremated and there will be no public services held. Her family plans to scatter her ashes in the Pacific Ocean off the coast of California at a later date.
