Longtime Goodland, Kansas resident Kenneth L. Siruta, 70, died August 28, 2016.
Kenny was born June 3, 1946, Colby, Kansas, the son of Susan (Anderjeski) and Peter Andrew Siruta. He attended grade school at Levant, graduated from Brewster High School, and furthered his education at Colorado State University in Fort Collins, Colorado. He served his country in the United States Army. He was the owner and agronomist at Agrecon in Goodland.
He and Imogene Long were married in 1970, and later divorced. He and Susan Knott were married in 1985, and later divorced.
Preceding him in death were five brothers Jim, Jerry, Don, Jr., and Bob; and four sisters Mary, Carol, Margaret, and Helen.
Surviving family includes his two sons Marshall Siruta and Lance Siruta; two grandchildren Megan Siruta and Jordan Siruta; one great-grandson Cole Unger, all of Goodland; and one brother Chuck Siruta and his wife Sandy of Wichita.
The memorial service, with military honors, will be Tuesday, September 6, at 10:30 AM MT, at Koons Chapel in Goodland.
Memorials may be designated to the Outdoor Youth Skills Day, and may be left at or mailed to Koons Funeral Home, 211 N. Main, Goodland, KS 67735-1555.
