Justin Clermont

Sharon Springs, KS resident Justin Michael Clermont, 41, passed away unexpectedly at the Goodland Regional Medical Center in Goodland.

Justin was born on May 16, 1978 in Atwood, KS to Charles Adrian and Virginia Lee (Baumfalk) Clermont.  He was one of seven children.  Shortly after he was born, the family moved to Hays, where he attended high school.  Justin worked for Best Radiator in Hays as a welder until he moved to Sharon Springs where he enjoyed many job titles working at Hills Trash Pickup.

Justin met Tessa Hatfield and shortly after became engaged.  He moved to Sharon Springs with his daughter where they built the life he loved.

Justin loved his family and made every effort to make sure they all knew. HIs pride and joy was always his children.  You could find Justin doing many things outside like fishing with family, golfing with the boys and their 3 random golf clubs, or hiking with the family.  He had weekly movie dates with his love and daughters who always choose to sit with him and not their friends. He loved watching the Chiefs play football. He loved to visit his Mema in Hays eating all kinds of good food and of course watching some TV. He would always enjoy a cold bud light with his brothers.

Preceding him in death were his father, his maternal grandparents and a nephew Derrick Hagan.

He is survived by his mother Virginia Clermont of Hays,  KS, his fiancé Tessa Hatfield of Sharon Springs, KS, two sons Dusty Clermont and Dylan Clermont of Hays, KS; three daughters Aspen Jones, Jazzman Jones and Dayla Clermont all of Sharon Springs, KS and a bonus daughter Olivia Laporte of Hays, KS.  He is also survived by two brothers Scott Clermont of Hays, KS and Bryan Clermont of Greeley, CO; four sisters Vicki,  Deb Witt (Clinton) of Lexington, NE, Cherie “Cookie” (Brian) Schmidt of Hays, KS and Jody Hagan (Dennie) of Hays, KS, best friend Bryan Anshultz, and many nieces, nephews and friends.

Memorial contributions may be designated to the Justin Clermont Memorial Fund to be used for his Children and may be left at the services or mailed to Koons-Russell Funeral Home, 211 N. Main Ave., Goodland, KS 67735.
