Goodland, Kansas resident and former Burlington, Colorado resident Judith Lynn Nations, 74, passed away on Saturday, December 8, 2018 at the Wallace County Community Care Center in Sharon Springs, KS.
Judy was born on August 29, 1944 in Goodland, KS, to James LeRoy and Katherine Hope (Gemmer) Trablik. She was one of 3 children. She completed her education later in life. In 1965, she married Grady Monroe Nations in Topeka, KS.
In the 1980’s, Judy and Grady moved to Burlington, Colorado, where he worked for many years as the grounds keeper for Old Town. After retiring from Old Town, they moved to Tennessee to live with their son Grady Wayne Nations until Grady’s death in 2015. After his death, she moved to Goodland to be closer to family. While living in Goodland, she attended the Seventh Day Adventist Church.
Preceding Judy in death were her parents, her husband and one son Dean Nations.
She is survived by 6 children; Teresa Nations of Oxnard, CA, Mark Nations (Randi) of Ojai, CA, Julie Loftis of Topeka, KS, Lee Nations (Geri) of Nixa, MO, Pam Weissman (Richard) Port Richey, FL and Grady Wayne Nations (Jennifer) of Hendersonville, TN. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren, great grandchildren too numerous to mention, and two sisters Vicki (Guy) Fitzwater of Sharon Springs, KS and Beth Pugh of Goodland, KS.
