Goodland, Kansas resident John Wayne Pharr, 60, died Friday, April 15, 2016.
He was born August 29, 1955, at Covington, Georgia, the son of Carolyn (Harrell) and James Wilbur Pharr. He furthered his education in college, becoming a veterinary tech. He served his country in the United States Air Force.
He had been a resident of Goodland for the last five years.
Preceding him in death were his parents.
Surviving family includes his wife Ina (Griffith) Pharr of Goodland; three daughters Regina Turowski of Pipe Creek, Texas; Hattie Turowski of Phoenix, Arizona; Stormy Pharr of Goodland; son-in-law Scott Schinoller of Pipe Creek, Texas; granddaughter Katherine Pharr of Goodland; brother Michael Pharr of Fowler, Colorado; and three sisters Paula Smith of Fort Morgan, Colorado; Rozlan Burnhart of Greeley, Colorado; Carla Pharr of Greeley, Colorado.
A family memorial service will be at a later date.
