Goodland, Kansas resident Jody Lee Brown, 50, died Thursday, September 15, 2016.
She was born September 10, 1966, at Davenport, Iowa, the daughter of Judith Ann (Watne) and Wilfred John Brown. She graduated from North Scott High School in Eldridge, Iowa.
Jody had moved to Goodland from Eldridge in 2006, and had worked at Wal-Mart, serving people in the deli. She was a member of the First Christian Church.
Preceding her in death was her father. Surviving family includes her mother Judith Brown of Eldridge, Iowa; son Jonathan Brown and daughter Savanna Brown, both of Goodland; three sisters Paula Brown and Deborah Brown, both of Eldridge; Sherry (Roger) Perry of Manchester, Iowa; brother Michael (Leesha) Brown of Davenport, Iowa.
The memorial service will be Wednesday, September 21, at 10:30 AM MT, at First Christian Church in Goodland, with Pastor Doug Amend officiating.
Memorials may be designated to the Jody Brown Memorial, and may be mailed to Koons Funeral Home, 211 N. Main, Goodland, KS 67735-1555.
