James Wiley Allaman, the son of Thelma & Toohey Allaman, was born on November 27, 1938 in Wallace, Kansas. He was the third of six children. Jim passed away peacefully on Saturday November 18, 2023 in Littleton, Colorado with his family by his side. He was greatly loved and will forever be in our hearts.
As a child he loved the outdoors. He enjoyed hunting & fishing with his grandmother, father and brothers. He raised many pets including raccoons, squirrels and dogs. He served two years in the Army and loved telling stories about being in Panama.
He married Patricia Jane Korbelik on June 8, 1962 in Wallace, Kansas. They had three wonderful children. They chose Goodland as their home and he owned his own mechanic shop for many years there. They lived a life of fishing, hunting, camping, motorcycle trips and celebrations with family. He later enjoyed a number of hobbies including, making beautiful wooden bowls from his lathe, working in his amazing garden, restoring watches and making clocks and waiting for his Purple Martins to fly in every spring.
He is survived by his wife Pat of 61 years, his daughters Terri Johnson (spouse Doug) of Colorado Springs, Colorado, Cindy Weaver (spouse Mike) of Buena Vista, Colorado and son Monte Allaman (spouse Lisa) of Porum, Oklahoma. Six Grandchildren: Travis Johnson, Heather Pfluger, Donovan, Levi, Jimmy and J.D. Allaman and three Great Grandchildren: Kyler and Kohen Johnson, Colt Michael Pfluger (in progress), his sisters Helen Jean Fricks and Sharon Nowak and his brother Dick Allaman and many nieces and nephews.
Jim was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers, Buddy and Mickey.
