Longtime Wallace County, Kansas resident Glenda Evonne Allaman, 77, died Sunday, September 25, 2016.
She was born July 22, 1939, at Scott City, Kansas, the daughter of Clara F. (Moore) and Walter W. Norton. She graduated from Wichita County High School and also furthered her education at International School of Reflexology. In 1958, she and Toohey “Buddy” Allaman were married at Leoti, Kansas. In 1988, they moved to Wallace County. She was a member of the Dinas Community Church in rural Wallace.
Preceding her in death were her parents and brother Darald Norton.
Surviving family includes her husband Toohey “Buddy” Allaman of Wallace; four children Linda Petty and her husband Robert of Sugar City, Colorado; Peggy Dautel and her husband John of Goodland; Adam Allaman and his wife Dawn of Commerce City, Colorado; Riley Allaman and his wife Karla of Marienthal; nine grandchildren; twenty-four great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; nine step-grandchildren; and eleven step-great-grandchildren.
The funeral will be on Wednesday, September 28, 2016, at 10:30 AM MT, at the Wesleyan Church in Sharon Springs, with burial following in the Wallace, Kansas Cemetery.
Visitation will be Tuesday, September 27, from 4:00 until 6:00 PM MT, at Koons Funeral Home in Sharon Springs.
Memorials may be designated to the Dinas Community Church or Hospice Services of Wallace County, and may be left at the services or mailed to Koons Funeral Home, 211 N. Main, Goodland, KS 67735-1555.
