Longtime Goodland, Kansas resident Frankie Faulconer, 72, died Saturday, October 6, 2012 at St. Anthony Hospital in Lakewood, Colorado.
She was born September 11, 1940, at Garden City, Kansas, the daughter of Alma (Phelps) and Frank Harp.
In 1960, she married Robert Joe Holmes. On July 24, 1978, she and David Faulconer were married. In the late 1990’s, she moved from Towner, Colorado to Goodland. She enjoyed yard sales and collecting porcelain dolls. Gardening and doing arts and crafts were other activities that she enjoyed.
Preceding her in death were her parents; husband David Faulconer; two infant children Angie J. Holmes and Robert Joe, Jr., Holmes; and an infant brother Jimmy Harp.
Surviving family includes son Leonard Harp of Houston, Texas; daughter Debra Bennett and her husband Joe; son Larry Holmes; son Craig Holmes; son Roger Holmes and his wife Cindy, all of Goodland; eleven grandchildren; and ten great-grandchildren.
The funeral will be Saturday, October 13, at 2:00 PM MT, at Koons Chapel in Goodland, with Pastor Brian Fugleberg officiating. Burial will follow in the Goodland Cemetery.
Friends may share their respects on Saturday, from 1:00 PM MT until the service at 2:00 PM MT.
