Ericka Rodriguez

Lifelong, Burlington, Colorado resident Ericka Rodriguez, 31, passed away on Tuesday, April 8, 2025 at the Aurora Medical Center in Aurora, CO.

Ericka was born on February 6, 1994 in Burlington, Colorado to Jesus and Maria deJesus Mungaray Acuna Rodriguez. She was one of 5 children. She grew up in Burlington and attended school in Burlington through the 8th grade.

Ericka had a passion for food and she really liked when her niece would sneak her a sip of soda when no one was looking. Ericka enjoyed being outside soaking up the sun and listening to music, you could catch her dancing when she really enjoyed the song. You would often hear Ericka clapping, that’s how you really knew she was happy. She enjoyed getting spoiled by her niece on the occasional spa day. Our girl never passed up a good face mask.

She was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents.

Surviving family include her parents Maria and Jesse Rodriguez of Burlington, sister Faby Rodriguez of Burlington, brother Ruben Rodriguez of Burlington, a sister Vanessa Rodriguez of Nashville, TN and a brother Andy Rodriguez of Burlington. She is also survived by her maternal grandparents as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

Cremation was chosen and a private family burial will take place at a later date in the Fairview Cemetery in Burlington, CO.
