Donald Wayne Daub, III

Longtime Kanorado, KS resident, Donald Wayne Daub, III, 43, passed away on Tuesday, October 17, 2023 at his home in Kanorado.

Don was born on August 19, 1980 in Boulder, CO to Donald Wayne and Carolyn Sue (Kleiboeker) Daub, Jr.  He was one of 3 children.  He lived in McCook, NE where he attended school.

He later met and married Delores Sportsman on February 29, 2020.  They had two children; Adonica Daub and Donald Daub, IV.  Don worked as a truck driver for Nutrien Ag for many years.  He was also on the Kanorado Volunteer Fire Department for 16 years and he took pride in his jobs.  He was very active in his community, and he was a Jack of all trades.  He could be very stubborn and ornery; however, he always strived to see the best in everyone.  He enjoyed hunting, fishing, shooting.  He was very family oriented and lived for his family and friends and enjoyed spending weekends having a BBQ. 

He was preceded in death by his maternal and paternal grandparents and his uncle William L. Krausman.

He is survived by his wife Delores and children Adonica and Donald of the home in Kanorado, his parents Donald and Carolyn Daub, Jr. of McCook, NE, his sister Sarah (Tim McMains) Daub of North Platte, NE and his brother Kenneth (Rachel) Daub of McCook, NE.

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date in Kanorado, KS.
