Dolores Elliott

Longtime resident Dolores (Peter) Elliott, 94 passed away on Sunday, October 23, 2022 at Topside Manor in Goodland.

Dolores was born September 19, 1928 in Rural Sherman County, Kansas to Jacob and Anna (Zimbelman) Peter.  She was one of 13 children. She grew up around the Goodland area and graduated from Sherman County High School in 1946.

On June 23, 1951, she married Henry “Hank” Elliott in Clarksville, TN. They had one daughter, Susan.

Hank and Dolores made their home in Goodland. Dolores worked as a bookkeeper for 35 years, retiring in 1991.

Preceding her in death were her parents, her husband Hank, her brothers Phillip, Edwin, Harold “Pete”, Armen and Larry, and sisters Ida, Vera, Clara, Elizabeth (Betty), Esther, Thelma and Loretta.

She is survived by her daughter Susan (Alan) Stasser of Kingfisher, OK, 4 sisters-in-law Bernice Peter, Finger, TN, Betty Wright of Goodland, Esther Elliott and Eleanor Elliott of Edson, KS. She is survived by 4 granddaughters; Talia Stasser of Curtis, NE, Autumn and Lisha Stasser of Kingfisher, OK, and Lindsey (Norman) Imes of Kingfisher, OK, and 5 great grandsons; Kolin and Tyce Pate of Curtis, NE, Jaxxyn Stasser, Liam and Cole Henry Imes all of Kingfisher, OK.
