Denelda Tyrrell

Former longtime Goodland, Kansas resident Denelda M. “Nell” Tyrrell, 87, died Saturday, April 25, 2015, at Pinnacle Park Nursing Home in Salina, Kansas.
She was born February 24, 1928, in Thayer County, Nebraska, the daughter of Nannie (Dankenbring) and William Bahe. She graduated from Bruning High School in Bruning, Nebraska.
On May 4, 1947, she and Charles A. “Chuck” Tyrrell were married in Goodland, Kansas, and they made their home in Goodland. She had worked at Schneider’s Clothing Store in Goodland. Her memberships included Emmanuel Lutheran Church.
Preceding her in death were her husband Chuck Tyrrell, who died January 13, 1989; her parents; and sister-in-law “Tam” Bahe.
Surviving family includes daughter Carolyn Lundin and her husband Dale of Salina; two grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; sister Opal Van Donge of Goodland; two brothers Wilmer Bahe and his wife Peggy of Goodland; Loren Bahe of Goodland; and several nieces and nephews.
The funeral will be Wednesday, April 29, at 10:00 AM MT, at Emmanuel Lutheran Church in Goodland, with Pastor Darian Hybl officiating. Burial will follow in the Goodland Cemetery.
Friends may share their respects one hour prior to the service at the church.
