Lifelong Goodland, Kansas resident, Daniel J. Dorn, Jr., 61, passed away on Saturday, November 5, 2016 at the Good Samaritan Center-Sherman County in Goodland.
Daniel was born on January 2, 1955 in Greeley, Colorado to Daniel J. and Laura B. (Pafford) Dorn, Sr. He was one of four children.
He was a member of the Emmanuel Lutheran Church in Goodland, and enjoyed spending his life listening to country music, signing and watching the Broncos.
Preceding him in death were his parents and one sister Diana Dorn.
Surviving family members include two brothers David Dorn and his wife Dee, and Donald Dorn, of Goodland. He is also survived by one niece Jessica Dorn, three nephews; Michael Dorn and his wife Cortney, Chris Dorn and Josh Dorn and his wife Melissa, all of Goodland, as well as ten great nieces and nephews; Malynn, Caleb, Natalie, Kaden, Adelynn, Bentley, Justin, Cheyenne, Jacob and Suri.
Funeral services for Daniel will be held on Friday, November 11, 2016 at 1:00 PM MT at the Emmanuel Lutheran Church in Goodland with Pastor Darian Hybl officiating. Burial will follow in the Goodland Cemetery.
Visitation will be held on Friday, November 11, 2016 from 12:00 to 1:00 PM at the church.
