Bonnie Duell

Bonnie Lou (Hurd) Duell, 92, of Goodland, KS passed away Topside Manor in Goodland, Kansas on February 12, 2025. She was born on June 24, 1932, to Carl and Lola (Morey) Hurd, in Goodland, Kansas.

Bonnie was a graduate of Goodland Community High School in 1950. 

Bonnie was united in marriage to Marvin Duell on June 8, 1952, in Goodland, KS at the United Methodist Church. To this union they had two children Steven and Stanley.

 She liked to garden, grow flowers and loved her dogs. She was an avid Broncos fan and attended many games when she was younger. She was involved in AFS and hosted an exchange student Jim Fitzsimmons from Australia. 

Bonnie is survived by her children Steven (Colleen) of Goodland, KS and Stanley (Julia) of Lindsborg, KS. Her five grandchildren, Brandy (Brent) Felzien of Assaria, KS, and Chamra Duell of Cozad NE, Aaron Duell & Adam Duell both of Goodland, KS, & Vanessa Crotinger of Topeka KS. Her great granddaughters Brenna and Brielle Felzien of Assaria, KS. Siblings Barbara Lohr of Lakewood CO and Beverly Gumm of Oklahoma City OK, and Curtis Hurd of Goodland, KS.

 She was preceded in death by her husband Marvin, and her parents Carl and Lola.
