Betty Zimmerman

Goodland, KS resident, Betty Louise Zimmerman, 93, passed away in Las Vegas, Nevada on November 1, 2022.

Betty was born August 9, 1929 Sheridan County, Kansas to William and Mary (Chavey) Racette.  She attended school at Grinnell High School.

On July 2, 1951 she married Leonard Zimmerman in Grinnell, Kansas.  To this union, four children were born Rick, Don, Randy, and Sheryl.

She was preceded in death by her parents William and Mary Racette, her husband Leonard Zimmerman, 6 sisters and 4 brothers.

Surviving family includes her children Rick (Sherry) Zimmerman of Marble Falls, TX, Don (Nancy) Zimmerman of Westminster, CO, Randy (Susan) Zimmerman of Goodland, KS, and Sheryl (Carlos) Blindeagle, of Las Vegas, NV. Her sister Phyllis Zerr of Quinter, KS, her brothers Wilbur Racette of Oakley, KS, and Dan Racette or Colby, KS, and 13 grandchildren and 22 great-grandchildren.
