Goodland, Kansas resident Agnes Gertrude Kraus, 82, died Wednesday, August 7, 2013, at Good Samaritan Society—Sherman County.
She was born November 5, 1930, at Okarche, Oklahoma, the daughter of Mary (Muggenburg) and George Osterholt. She graduated from high school at Okarche.
She and Clarence Kraus were married May 20, 1947, in Okarche, and they were blessed to share nearly sixty years together. Agnes was a butcher at a local grocery store in El Reno, Oklahoma, a homemaker, and a greeter at Wal-Mart. She attended Sacred heart Catholic Church in El Reno.
Preceding her in death were her husband Clarence Kraus and a son Daniel Joseph Kraus.
Surviving family includes her daughter Donna Morris and her husband Bill of Goodland; two grandsons Cameron Morris of Goodland; Chad Bollinger, his wife Andrea, and their daughter Allison Bollinger, all of El Reno, Oklahoma; sister MaryAnn Heinen and her husband Gerald of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; brother LeeRoy Kritenbrink and his wife Bernice of Kingfisher, Oklahoma; numerous nieces and nephews; and brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, all of the Oklahoma City area.
Memorial service and inurnment will be at a later date in the Holy Trinity Cemetery in Okarche, Oklahoma.
