Sarah Richardson

Sharon Springs, KS resident, Sarah Marie Richardson, 32, passed away unexpectedly at her home in Sharon Springs on Friday, October 28, 2022.

Sarah was born on November 29, 1989 in Rensselaer, IN to Michael Stenger and Arlene Roberts.  She was one of three children.  She attended school in Monon, IN and attended North White High School through the 11th grade.

On October 26, 2013, she married Michael Richardson in Buffalo, IN.  To this union, three children were born; Coraline, Darius and Eden.  She dedicated her life to raising her children.  In April of 2022, the family moved to Sharon Springs.

Sarah was a movie buff.  She loved pizza and animals.  She adored her children and loved to sing.

She was preceded in death by her father, her paternal grandfather and 2 uncles.

Surviving family includes her husband Michael and their three children; Coraline, Darius and Eden of the home in Sharon Springs, her mother Arlene Roberts of Roswell, NM, her mother and father-in-law Verna (Reno) Richardson of Petersburg, IN, two sisters; Amber Adams of Littleton, CO and Kristi Cooper of Kissimmee, FL, her maternal grandparents Donald and Bonnie Roberts, her paternal grandmother Patricia Stenger, as well as numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

A viewing will be held on Thursday, November 3, 2022 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Koons-Russell Funeral Home in Goodland.  There will be a gathering of family and friends at the Sharon Springs United Methodist Church starting at 1:00 PM.
